JCAHO Accreditation
The Joint Commission is governed by a 21-member Board of Commissioners that includes physicians, administrators, nurses, employers, quality experts, a consumer advocate and educators. They have accredited and certified more than 22,000 health care organizations and programs in the United States, including hospitals and health care organizations that provide ambulatory and office-based surgery, behavioral health, home health care, laboratory and nursing care center services. Accreditation and certification require a non-site evaluation by the Joint Commission. The evaluation assesses compliance with the Joint Commission standards and verifies improvement activities. After earning accreditation or certification, health care organizations receive The Gold Seal of Approval® from The Joint Commission. After rigorous evaluation by the Joint Commission, we are proud to announce Parkside Care Center has The Gold Seal of Approval.
